On July 12, 2025, Ada Sunrise Rotary participated in the inaugural Ada Farmers Fest, partnering with ECU Glass Recycling and The Oka' Institute at the corner of 12th & Townsend. The event brought together local organizations, music, food, and environmental action, and Rotary was proud to be part of the fun and service.

Ada Sunrise Rotary was out in full force for the first-ever Ada Farmers Fest on Saturday, July 12, 2025!

Set at the Ada Farmers Market on 12th & Townsend, this vibrant morning celebration featured live music by The Steppers, food trucks like Mendoza’s Tacos and Jurassic Ice, inflatables and games for the kids, and glass recycling services, all wrapped in a festive, family-friendly atmosphere.

Our club partnered with ECU’s Glass Recycling Program and The Oka’ Institute, joining them at a busy street corner to connect with festival-goers, promote sustainability, and highlight Rotary’s role in building a stronger, greener community.

We had meaningful conversations, handed out information, and encouraged attendees to bring their glass to recycle, all while soaking in the joy and energy of the event.

Events like this are a perfect match for Rotary’s mission: Service Above Self, paired with fellowship and local impact. We’re grateful to our community partners, the City of Ada, and every volunteer and visitor who made this celebration such a success.

Together, we made Farmers Fest a day to remember, and we look forward to doing it again!
