Ada Sunrise Rotary partnered with Ada Vet Clinic at this year’s Splashtastic Community Event, helping provide free pet wellness services to over 100 local dogs, including life-saving vaccines and flea/tick prevention. It was a joyful day of service, community connection, and back-to-school support.

On Saturday, July 26, Ada Sunrise Rotary joined forces with Ada Vet Clinic for the Splashtastic Community Free Event at Glenwood Splashpad, a summer celebration aimed at easing the back-to-school season for Ada families.

Rotarians were on-site to support a public health station for pets, where over 100 dogs received free Rabies and DAPPL4 vaccines, as well as Nexgard flea and tick treatment and sample dog food bags. Thanks to the hard work of the Ada Vet Clinic team and our club volunteers, we helped keep our furry neighbors safer and healthier heading into the school year.

In addition to pet care, the event offered school supplies, backpacks, free haircuts, hot dog lunches, tennis shoes, and raffle prizes. Families cooled off at the splashpad while receiving meaningful support from a coalition of local organizations, including Ada Regional United Way, Ada Board of Realtors, and Ada Sunrise Rotary.

Rotary is proud to be part of events like these that combine service, fellowship, and fun, and we’re incredibly grateful to Ada Vet Clinic for the chance to help make a big difference for pets and their people alike.

Service Above Self, for two-legged and four-legged friends alike!
